how can i access shared files

how can i access shared file from other systems using windows xp and how can i share my file to them simple pear to pear networking
i have red hat 9.0 kde mode

hey bro, use samba server available with pretty much all the linux distributions. you would have reconfigure the server to meet your needs.
for peer-to peer network sharing edit /etc/samba/smb.conf file and set the security variable equal to share ,i-e, security=share

Install samba.

Use the samba server part to set up shares for other machines.
To access shares located on windows machines...using linux..use the samba smbmount command..

do a man smbmount at console for more details.
