Announcement: PLUC Monthly Meeting 15 December 2002 !!!

Assalamualaikum,

This is a reminder to inform all PLUC members and an invitation to all
other's who are interested in Open Source / Linux to attend the regular monthly meeting of PLUC Karachi.

The meeting is scheduled for 15th December [ being third sunday of the
month ] at 2:30 pm at PLUC office.

We are located at 4-E-1/6 Nazimabad, please see location map:

Agenda:

1. Discussion and approval of draft letter making an offer on behalf of
PLUC for collaboration in a FREE CD distribution project.

2. Discussion and selection of OpenSource / Free software to be
included in CD. Please make proposals [ via email/post to forum if you are unable to attend for any reason ] about what you want distributed on this CD.

While making proposals please mention/include all software you know
which meets following criteria:
a. OpenSource or Free atleast.
b. Must be available for Linux as well as WinXX, Win2K OS. An example of software meeting this criteria is AbiWord.

3. Discussion about PLUC Wiki. Please check that at PLUC site also.

4. Any other matter.
