Mikrotik scripts

Anyone can provide me complete setup scripts for reference. I am new to Mikrotik and can understand things but just cant figure out how to implement it in production. i need dhcp, firewall, queue and user manager scripts. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

There are many scripts related to mikrotik available on internet. You can simply goto wiki.mikrotik.com there you will find many scripts for all purposes.

Mikrotik basically uses LUA scripting. Its a bit different from normal Linux scripting.

If you know Bash scripting, you can easily control complete mikrotik from linux console. Not that difficult.

well i understand shell scripting. I have seen scripts at wiki and mikrotik sites and can understand easily. I need some scripts which are already time tested and in production for sometime and by using which I could migrate my existing redhat setup into Mikrotik with minor changes.

Dear i can say for pretty damn sure that you will have a very hard time finding ready to use scripts for migrating.
What are you planning to migrate, like which services.

This will be easy for others to judge and give you adivse for the migration.

And you can always write a bash script to create a mikrotik rsc file for import.

Dear Mudasir,
i have redhat setup having dhcp,squid, firewall, named, HTB. I can understand Mikrotik .rsc scripts very well and working in scripts for sometime now. I searched on internet for ready made mikrotik scripts but could not find. There are examples and no complete setup. You share your scripts on some site or email me if i found any difficulty then of course I can ask u for help.
