Dear all fellows,

i have installed Linux i.e ubuntu 10.04 on my PC in which i have installed pptp client and able to connect it successfully but problem is that it unable to browse internet. in windows it works fine.the ISP which i am using is connect communications.
Kindly help me out.

Internet should not work on it. i can't comment on the claim you have working internet on windows machine.

You should do some troubleshooting steps.

1. check /etc/resolv.conf ( whether extries are valid or not ).
2. iptables set to allow all or not
3. if PPTP set to use MPPE, then patch PPTP client to use the same.

There can be many more steps.
