plz help me .....
i m new user of linux i use 7.3 i have a problem of internet connection i use "us robotic 56k external modem" (seial port) but when i dail to isp my modem is dial and i listen a sound of internet connect but after some sec my modem is disconnect and redial again plz tell me whats the problem ?
no just problem in linux ...... i chek my phone line ... modem ,,,
because i use net same modem on windows 98 / 2000 but only net is not connected on linux plz tell me how can i remove modem drive and again reinstall a driver from a cd of us robotic external modem ?
Apart from running KPPP in debug mode(which may show u the errors if any), you may also need to fiddle around with a few settings in the setup section of KPPP...like the connection speed etc on a trial and error basis.
