Internet Speed

My internet speed is very slow @9600. I am using Suse 10.3 with USR Ext modem on ttyS0. Connection is fine but speed is very slow. Windows Xp works fine with Modem. Plz help

Hi,

First correct your english.

second check your logs and read about settings of dialup configuration in suse 10.3.

And possible arrange dsl its not much expensive.

Why 1st english? a lot of people, who don't know english very well (correctly), but they use/configure linux computers. several people ask here in urdu too.

yes, they don't know english at all, so they can't read (or understand) the documentation, and instead post to linuxpakistan for help. by not working on their language skills (all the docs are in english, aren't they?), they cripple themselves.
