Problem in squid wroking...

aoa...frinds....i m facing a problem i m running my squid on FC2 its working fine but form the last few days it creating a proeblem for me when ever my any user try to access any webstie...it show following error...but after 3-4 try it open. the error is given blow....plz help me about this....

Check if your default gateway is reachable from the squid machine.

I think there is problem in DNS. the requesting URLs are not resolving properly.

check your /etc/resolve.conf
ask your isp and put the DNS information here
how i can check this thing.......
check /etc/sysconfig/network file you will find the gateway information here

check the file /etc/sysconfig/network-script/ifcfg-eth0
replace 0 if another ethernet card like eth1

find GATEWAY=192.168.0.1 like line in both files.

/etc/sysconfig/network file is responsible for gateway


if your problem persist, kindly write your complete scenerio, like what other services are running over your server, like iptalbes, Bind
