how can i cp the whole linux on the othre system with the same configuration..same hardware...pls explain ..i shall be very thankful to u ..its very hard to install on ecah pc seprately

i want to install the rh7.3 on about 5 pc having same configuration. i want to make a image file of rh7.3 of 1 pc (as its done in windows. and copy the images using norton ghosts in case of windows)......i want to this kind of work with rh 7.3... same copy installation on same hardware??how to do it...

go to motrola site and download the rpm for ur kernel ...i think they have only 1 or 2 rpm for motorola sm56 modem. intall the rpm and have a surfing on 7.1

1. use alpha numeric and special key password as a system password of motherboard bios
2.same is the same for the root password
3. must set the init 1 single user (but the problem still exist:)
remove the floopy and cdrom and try to have a key lock to ur cpu casing

well try to configure the modem from the shell.do u know ??ttys? u r using and then wvdail.conf

then try to config the eth? from the shell. configuration from the gui some time dont work well

well 1 thing u must have a max 2-3 gb partiton for win based os
for linux u need min 2 partiton

run kudzu after removing a lan card
then again activate the modem and then configure both after checking the irq and mem i/o

if u have got the ISA slot in ur pc then its the best and cheepest solution
try to find out used isa modem having jumpers for comm port setting and also jumpers for IRQ setting having a ROM BOIS on it .
it will be ok if u find an 33.3 or 14.4 or 28.8 kbps modem no problem
or find a external modem

but firstly see wt is ur kernel version
command is uname -all or uname /all
the best way is to use a ISA or EISA modem with having a ROM BOIS on with also with jumpers for setting the comm port and jumpers for IRQ settings
