will u please tell me all the aspect of this problem.
I run du -chs command against /.
# cd /
# du -chs *
All folder have not enough size. It means no directory cause 100% / full.
I think there problem is some where else.

File System Problem

My Linux Box was running well. But next day I have come to know that its root partition is 100% Full.
How to investigate and overcome this issue.
Please help me.

I want that my ftp users be able to upload only (*.doc,*.xls,*.ppt) files only in their respected home directories.

samba security

Hi, I have configured samba 3 in Red Hat Linux EL 4. I am using this shared folder for all users to access without password. I set up guest ok. It runs well. But I want that user should execute files only but should not be able to list or view the files/folders.... How can I do that... Regards, Munir

Telnet jail

I am using Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4. I want to restrict users in their home directories whan they telnet/ftp into the system.
I successfully implemented ftp in jail environment.

But I am looking for telnet/ssh jail configurations.
