What is difference

I want to know that what is actual difference in squid acl having only ip address and ip address with subnet mask.
What actual difference is in both ways.
Any body with knowledge.

While providing only ip address means you implementing acl on single ip while you providing a subnet then it means acl will be applied to whole range of that subnet!
