Is Bandwidth Management poosible in Linux, i.e. Assign bandwidth limit to specific IP address. If yes then please tell me how it is possible?[/b]

Salam,
i am new in linux and not know much. i installed linux to a person i face a problem of downloading i want to set 5kb limit of downloading for every users. i am using RedHat 9 with 2.5 squid. plz told me the solution.

http://lartc.org/ the most easy bandwidth management way on earth. :lol:

if you have used freebsd, then you should go for ipfw+dummynet.
