Can any body tell me what is the major difference between RH8 and FreeBSD installations?
I got stuck when it asked me to make partitions.

Salam,
Red Hat is install on simple Partitions while FreeBSD make Slice and then you can add mount points to the slice.
Red Hat is Simple to install while FreeBSD is like Slackware Install ( Correct me if i am wrong )

Hey! That’s right; it asked me to make slices.
I tried the install process on VMware it worked fine (and the X was not working), the thing is I am not sure what I did to the virtual SCSI.
