Video Card

Post by Zaheer »

AOA,
U mean ur video card is a builtin one which comes with Intel 810C or E series of Mother Boards.Am I right. So Redhat 9.0 must detect ur Video Card automatically if it is a built in one.

Redhat doesn't have to do jack if it doesn't understand the video card.

Your card is onboard video integrated onto the Intel 810 Chipset.

Might want to check these out...

I have the same intel bultin vga chip 810 series of original intel motherboard D815EEA2 & i had'nt found any trouble during or after installtion of RH9 even i tried in KOBIAN Fsfx motherboard which have the same builtin vga. what i did during installation is i didnt tried to modify any default settings coz linux RH9 smart enough to detect bultin sound, vga may be sound can create problem but it'll also sort out.

So, if u have still the same problem then i recomend do not edit any settings of vga

try to learn linux day by day...
