Our company immediately requires the services of an energetic and skilled Data Base Analyst to meet its off-shore support commitments. The job timings will be from 5pm to 2am (Monday - Friday) to match the client's day time working hours.
The ideal candidate shall be able to work independently and with discipline to fulfill the committed performance requirements on a routine basis. Following is a profile that we would like to see in prospective candidates.
Four years Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or in a related field,
excellent English and communications skills, and at least 2 years DBA
experience is a must. Oracle DBA certification (OCP) will be a plus.
Technical requirements:
- Experience with large Oracle 9i/10g databases on Unix in a
production environment.
- Database upgrade/migration expertise.
- Database and SQL performance tuning experience.
- Well versed with RMAN, DataGuard, and RAC concepts
