Assalam-O-Alaekum!
I attended that isb meeting today and here is a summary of what we did and decided.
1. Monthly meetings will be held on the last Sunday of each month.
2. We tried configuring IPCop and MNF on the network and had a few problems which I am sure we will solve within a few days and may be we will meet again to try it again.
3. We decided to start projects collectively. The first one we are thinking about is an Urdu Editor for Linux. We are thinking about trying to use any existing editor (like yudit etc) and improve it either by coding or by providing specialized files (keymap files or fonts etc) to make urdu support possible or better. I will try to do it with Yudit. Lets see what happens. We will surely need your help in this matter (and a lot of it too
4. Yours sincerely (me) will be posting news about upcoming group events in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
That is all. The gathering was a small one. Only four persons to be exact. A couple of fellows were unable to make it due to very valid reasons. We are hoping for a bigger one next time
Okay that is all. thnx.
ALLAH HAFIZ.
