I've been a linux user for years, and ubuntu hasnt impressed me at all. It's only good for newbies, and even the newbies, when they become adept would move on to slackware or gentoo! I have been a linux users for over 6 years now and Ubuntu is the distro of choice when it comes to setting up my own...

I dont find any reason for this pool..is this gonna effect them/OSS/us in any way?? I doubt that!!

This is to confirm that they are using Linux at the moment and the server has an uptime of ~70days. Kernel is 2.4.20 most prolly.

Prolly you didnt get what Hanybee is asking for. Its the AD domain and not the dns domain name thinggy. Its about LDAP and directory services..aint it?

If you want to have a meeting, then play an active role. Be an active member of the forum here. You will soon find out people who are from Islamabad. Then, ask them about a meeting, decide some place n time and then meet. Its not that difficult.

Well there have been PLUc meetings in ISB and I am sure there must be links about them on this forum. Meetings were held at Iinix and a few other places. People are very enthusiastic at first but then they lose interest for some mysterious reason.
