i always thought that like windows once i export the Envvars as Root ,they would be stored for n access with Root Login ....

i have corrected and tested the envvars with .bash_profile....

the export functionality doesnot store the environment variables????
im logged in as root and in bash i write export PATH=....., wont it get stored????

should it not store the variables after export call in .bash_profile?

They would be on different subnets ....

Well you can use ( as cwackked pointed out ) a Sniffer like Ethereal or TCP Dump.. comes with Linux ... Ethereal is GUI Based and easier to use and TCP Dump is console based prog ... choice is urs....

Web Mail

Try using Squirrel Mail ... its a web interface to ur send Mail or post Fix .... a nice guide is http://www.linuxmigration.com/quickref/admin/email.html i prefer post fix but you can have ur own choice... configure it and then add it to ur Apache web server and walaaa u can see ur emails via web lem...
